Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 March 2026
This Cookie Policy applies to [your domain].
1) Who we are
Website operator / primary controller: Reinders Europe BV, fakestreet, Netherlands
Additional controller for Germany-related enquiries: Reinders Posters GmbH, fakestrasse, Germany
Contact: [email protected]
(See our Privacy Policy for details on how we process personal data.)
2) What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies (such as scripts, pixels, and local storage). For simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
3) Why we use cookies
We use cookies for:
- Essential purposes (website security and basic functionality)
- Statistics/analytics (only with your consent)
- Embedded media (YouTube) (only with your consent)
As a rule, non-essential cookies require your consent under EU ePrivacy rules and related national laws, and consent must meet GDPR standards.
4) Consent and managing your preferences (Complianz)
We use the Complianz WordPress plugin to:
- show a consent banner,
- record your choices, and
- block non-essential cookies/scripts until you consent (where configured).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via [Cookie settings link/button].
5) Cookies we use
- A) Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the website to work securely and properly (e.g., security, load balancing, consent settings). They do not require consent in the same way as optional cookies.
Examples (may vary by configuration):
- Consent status cookie(s) set by Complianz
- Technical/session cookies from WordPress
- Security-related cookies
- B) Analytics cookies (GA4) — only after consent
If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website usage and improve the site.
What GA4 can collect (typical):
- page views and interactions,
- device/browser details,
- approximate location,
- identifiers/cookies (depending on configuration).
Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Provider: Google Ireland Limited (with possible processing by Google LLC, USA).
Retention: Data retention: 14 months.
Google provides tools to manage consent signals in Analytics (Consent Mode / consent settings).
- C) Embedded media (YouTube) — only after consent
Some pages may contain YouTube videos. Loading an embedded video can result in third-party requests and cookie/identifier usage.
How we handle it: we block YouTube embeds until you consent (or use a click-to-load placeholder)
6) Third parties and international transfers
Some third parties (notably Google/YouTube) may process data outside the EEA (including the USA). When you consent to analytics or YouTube, you also consent to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
7) How to delete cookies
You can delete cookies via your browser settings. You can also use our Cookie settings to withdraw consent for optional cookies; after withdrawal, optional cookies should no longer be set, and where possible we will stop loading the relevant scripts.
8) Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
